Why dont you use the MS SQL functions? The ZIPPED file has the DLL for them,
and here's a ready reference: http://www.php.net/manual/ref.mssql.php
My experience is that MS SQl functions (php_mssql70.dll) did not work before
PHP v4.01p2, I had to use ODBC. But it works for me now!
Make sure of the following in your PHP.INI file:
1.
[MSSQL]
extension=php_mssql70.dll ;
mssql.allow_persistent = On ;
mssql.max_persistent = -1 ;
2. The extension dir should point to the correct dir -- where your dll files
are.
3. Not sure if this is useful, but I also have all the .dll(s) in the same
directory where I'm executing php4isapi.dll and php.exe.
If this doesnt work, you might also like to see the windows-specific modules
