parsing an error files for info

My client has a high volume mailing list that is sent out on a bi-monthly basis. I'm finding that people dump their email address that's on the list without unsubscribing -- so an error message comes back from the server. I've directed the error messages to a POP account and I have to manually go through each error message and remove the bad email from the master list (flatfile).
