Hi,
does the database run on the Apache server?
If so, PHP nows $SERVER_ADDR for the server's IP address.
If not, I guess you must distinguish it from "ipconfig" (NT)
or ifconfig (unix).
Cheers, Arne

HI, How can I find out the "Servername" or "IP address" of the MYSQL
database that I am running on my own Windows NT machine? My apache is
running on "http://localhost:9091".
I know the "name" of my database, but I dont know how to find out the
"server IP adress".
Thanks!
