I'm using this technique for bencmarking pages, using CachedfastTemplates:
$start = $tpl->utime() /*this just returns utime*/
...
...
rest of script
....
....
$end=$tpl->utime();
$runtime=($end - $start) * 1000;
I know its very not a good benchmark,
but I was wondering what an acceptable page load time? I know that php.net is appears
very slow (It's not because of tables, because if you load the page out of cache it
renders instanly).
I'm getting about 120ms for uncached pages and 6-20ms for cached pages (which are flat files).
Anyone give me some ballpark figures for thier sites?
