Heredoc question

Can one use <?php ?> within the heredoc syntax or is there another way?? I'm trying to dynamically generate email from generic text but with obvious additions, like this: $message = <<<my_message Name: <?php echo $lot->get_name(); ?> Lot <php echo $lot->get_id(); ?> has been approved.
