Hi there, I was wondering whether someone could tell me whether it is possible to use PHP to check whether a user supplied email address is a pop address as opposed to a web based address like hotmail. Have done some searching but cant seem to turn any answers up. Thanx in advance for any replys, Phil SIs this to check that you have genuinely interested people? I'm afraid you cannot make a clear distinction between webbased and pop, at @zonnet.nl for instance i can get a free account AND access it through a web interface or with POP. Same for my paid account.
