Can someone give a 30 second 'no shitter' on cookies -- or point me to one.
I can make the trivial work - a self referencing form that prints a counter or your name, but beyond
that I've got all kinds of problems.
for example:
setcookie("cookie1",$value1);
setcookie("cookie2",$value2);
header("Location:http://mysite.com/otherpage.php");
No cookies on 'otherpage.php' either on initial load or reload.
A couple things to wonder about. The cookies are created, in the trivial example they are
registered to mysite.com and /~chucker/myworkingdir. In the one I can't get to work, they are
registered to mysite.com and /php/php3/~chucker/myworkingdir - I don't know why and I'm
wondering if that is having an effect -
This is a CGI install of 3.014
