Yes, but without any supporting information, how is one expected to
diagnose the problem? When trying to solve stuff like this, it helps
if you can send the shortest possible script which reproduces the
problem, and any supporting information which might be relevant. Also,
the version of PHP which you are using when you experience the problem
also helps, especially if there is a recognized problem with a certain
version.
Hint: check your include()s and/or require()s. However, there are
apparently several things which may have caused this. There are also a
whole pile of messages about this error message in the mailing list
archives, which may help: go to http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-dev
or http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=php-general
and type in something
along the lines of 'input flex scanner failed'.
Now, I've gotta go for dinner---I'm falling off my chair. :) But if
the archives don't have anything useful for you, check the version and
hack out that short script and post it; I'm sure someone will have an
answer for you.
Hope this helps,
Torben
