mail() without subjects and froms

Hi there! I have a weired problem with a 4.12 php version on win2k. When i mail more then one email i often have the problem that the mail reaches their recipient but the subject and from does not work properly, instead this is on top of the email. but strangely sometimes it just works normal. does someone know the reason for such "empty subject" mails? - Johannes
