Not a specific question, more a request for comments.
Does anyone have any opinions/comments on creating data or objects with
application scope in PHP?
I'm thinking of implementing what would essentially be a Singleton in a PHP
extension, which could cache/uncache arbitary zvals. But I'd like to hear
about any other approaches, especially anything that already exists.
