Hi everyone,
Thanks for the help from Mike and Julie. I have solved the error on the
statement. But now, could anyone tell me how to retrieve client IP address
and do the IP address checking with MySQL user table in PHP? Thank you.

Did you try using && instead of "and"?

Hi Julie and all,
I tried your solution but it is still not working. I tried to take away
($row["password"] == "$password") and rest works fine. I don't what is
wrong with my ($row["password"] == "$password") statement, please help!
Thanks in advance.

Try:
if (($row["user"] == "$username") && ($row["password"] ==
"$password")
&& ($username != ""))
