OK, I'm stupid. How could you run *any* type of UNIX command on a Windows
NT system? You're not running UNIX, you're running Windows. A UNIX program
will not run under Windows. A Windows program cannot run under UNIX (well,
there is VMWare & WINE, but I'm not counting them right now).
Are you asking is there a way for PHP running on Windows/Apache to cause
another system which is running UNIX to run a command? If that is the
question, then try looking at the "rexec" command. Unfortunately, I don't
think that the standard version of WindowsNT contains this command. But
I'm not sure. I'm not very Windows literate anymore.
