Help, Transport endpoint error...

Hello all! I find this error quite strange. I use the below code: $fcontents = file("http://www.the_web_page.com"); Now, the code works without errors/warnings on certain webpages, while on another it produces the below Warning message: What exactly does this mean. This is strange since the exact same code has worked before (after re-install of server, but everything else works fine after re-install). Using PHP4, Apache, Linux, db2. Warning: file("http://www.the_web_site.com") - Transport endpoint is not connected in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/temp/test.php on line 7 Could anyone clarify this problem for me? Thanks in advance.
