I'd say get a good book on OO thinking/methodology and read that. Do a little practicing in PHP4, but I'd wait until PHP5 to really get into it. PHP5 is supposed to have a lot more OO features. My $0.02, of course. I just got "The Object Oriented Though Process" by SAMS from someone through Amazon. Looks to be a good book. -- ---John Holmes...
