Hi,
The "global variable" approach...
function explode_var($varname)
{
global $name;
global $valuecode;
$vararray = explode(":", $varname);
$name = $vararray['0'];
$valuecode = $vararray['1'];
}
$name="";
$valuecode="";
explode_var($details);
echo "name = $name";
