Mark, that's right what I'm planning to do - using 3 layers: business layer,
data layer, presentation layer. The idea is old.
But you can even extend this idea. There is a very good article at

I'm starting to adopt these philosophy in my JAVA application development.
Now I wonder if it's possible to transform these ideas (or even the
framework) into PHP4 development.
