Adding a set of templates

I want to create my own templates but the phpBB site says coming soon for the docs.
I copied the subSilver folder to a folder called default (in the templates directory) but when I go
to style/add in the admin screens it doesn't show up, the docs say that the templates directory
is scanned for new templates, am I missing something?
