Hello all,
I have two boxes running mysql. One is a windows nt box running just
mysql, the other is a redhat linux box running apache, php, and mysql
(both are on an internal network). I can connect from the linux box to
the nt box and use mysql (issuing queries, creating database, and
such). But, when I try to use php on the same linux box the connection
fails, and I am not getting any error messages. Any ideas?
Here's the start of what's being issued from the php page:
/**
mysql_connect ("ip of nt box", "username on nt box", "password on nt
box");
mysql_select_db ('databasename');
$result = mysql_query ("SELECT * FROM databasename");
**/
