Hi, I'm having a really BIG problem with php 4.0.1 in a production
system running solaris 2.8.
Our tests machine is a mandrake linux 7.0 running apache 1.3.12+php
4.0.1+MySQL 3.22.32. We are running an application that uses
mysql_num_rows without problems in the tests machine.
We installed the same configuration en the production machine, the same
configure line (./configure' '--with-apache=../apache_1.3.12'
'--enable-track-vars' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-trans-sid'
'--disable-debug' '--enable-magic-quotes'). PHP runs _apparently_ with
no problem but mysql_num_rows is allways returning nothing!!!, so all
of our scripts that use mysql_num_rows are broken.
For testing we run the scripts in the tests machine but using the
database of the production server and all worke fine, so the problem is
something with the installation in the solaris machine.
Can anybody help me? it's very urgent.
Thanks,
