Depending on how tough the encryption needs to be, you can find a nifty
little two way crypt class I wrote. It's all PHP, with no other
requirements. It's not something that even a municipality would restrict
as a munition, much less a government, so don't consider it for sensitive
data. I've used it for games and passing hidden variables in forms, and
encrypting URL strings to deter people messing with them. If that is your
need, they should work fine.
