Opp... forgot this.... use htmlspecialchars( ) to fix it. It will convert
your " to " for you. So you code should look like this:
<?PHP
$test = htmlspecialchars ("gerard's name is \"gerard\"");
echo $test."<br>";
echo '<input type="text" name="test2"
value="'.$test.'"><br>';
?>
<form action="test2.php" method="post">
<input type="text" name="foo" value="" />
<input type="submit" name="sub" value="submit">
</form>
and it will work :)
