Hi all: I'm trying to contactenate the following variables to read the FORM variables (ie. the text boxes) and keep their values hidden. for ($z=1; $z < 49; $z++) { for ($y =0; $y < 7; $y++) { $hold = ${"D".$day."_".$time."SHOW"}; echo "<input type='hidden' name='D'.$day.'_'.$time.'SHOW' value='$hold'><br>"; $day++; } $day =0; $time++; } PROBLEM: the name (ie. the text boxes names) are taken as text literals ' D'.1.'_'.1'.SHOW' NOT D1_1SHOW HELP!!! Alan
