To Rasmus and others who responded to this message yesterday -
Someone sparked me by suggesting it was due to difference in Unix/DOS
linefeeds - The data was coming out of FileMakerPro 5.0 for Macintosh,
which means that what would be "\n" is now a "\r" - I had to read the
data into a variable, ereg_replace it, and now all works well. Thanks
