hi all, I have been silent about binarycloud for a while now, mostly due to intense production. We will be polishing the pre-v1 code for the next month or so, to release it shortly thereafter. We have all core components completed except core_authentication, and core_permissions: db_abstraction (metabase) - which uses an XML schema definition format. error template And the following libraries: debugging execution timer form builder network tools (ping, traceroute, etc) output buffering shortcuts send email (mime and plaintext) shopping cart string clean string types table builder url utilities there is of course a bunch of other stuff we have done associated with setting up a system of this type, including a number of applications which run on top of the system. for those of you who have no idea what I'm babbling about, binarycloud is a soon-to-be opensource platform for rapidly building web applications. it incorporates a DB-agnostic abstraction layer, a unique template system, and a number of libraries for dynamically building large, multi-page forms with erroring, automatically building sortable tables from arrays, and a lot more. Anyway, it's groovy. best, _alex -- Alex Black, Head Monkey enigma@turingstudio.com The Turing Studio, Inc. http://www.turingstudio.com vox+510.666.0074 fax+510.666.0093 Saul Zaentz Film Center 2600 Tenth St Suite 433 Berkeley, CA 94710-2522
