Heirarchy DB Problem

Hi, I'm creating a dir application and had a query in mind : If i wanted to check if a new file has been added into a category how would i do that ? Eg : C:\Windows has this : files... , System directory (system dir has files.. and other dirs...) so if i want to know that there is a new file i want to go into each sub category... and if that subcat has any other subcats go into them and so on... keep going... can any one guide me as to how to go deeper... this is from top to bottom... if i wanted to display : C:\Windows\Systems\DLL ... it is easy.. i kwow that the person is in DLL and wants to find out all dirs above.. so it is easy.. but going from top to bottom... i can't figure out... any ideas ? thanks. ===== To Find Out More About Me : http://mukul.tsx.org/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
