Obviously its an example, otherwise the script wouldn't have even parsed.
$regularExpression = '"/<tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF">(.|\n)+?<\/tr>/';
preg_match ($regularExpression, $fileString, $matches)
This regular expression causes PHP to crash for me, not a parsing error.
