What do we call things like this -- $_POST['name'], $_SERVER['remote add'] Are they superglobals and where can I find a list of these? Hi,
Superglobals are those variables defined by PHP, like $_SERVER, $_REQUEST, etc. (http://de3.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.predefined.php) User defined superglobals do not exist (yet at least) In the exmple above the variables are $_SERVER and $_POST the others are just members of the respective arrays. Cheers, Catalin
