Hello there.
During the days of php3 i wrote a authentication/validation system that I
used to verify that the right users got access to my site.
Basically i had to write my own sessionhandling using cookies. But in these
days of in built session support i would think that there's a easier way to
do this. So what I'm looking for is some kind of article or other resource
that describes how you can use php and a user/password structure in mysql
for "safe" authentications.
Any clues or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
