Since this is the php mailing list, I'll keep this question simple. Can
someone explain to me the differences (or rather the
advantages/disadvantages) of using blocking and non-blocking modes? I've
noticed a lot about this lately when dealing with TCP/IP communications, but
have never run across the need to know it. Are there any
advantages/disadvantages?
