PHP is an embedded scripting language. You put it right alongside your
HTML -- in the same file in many cases.
If you're running PHP as CGI, you probably do need a script alias -- I've
never dealt with this issue. But if you're running PHP as a module, then
you can put PHP files wherever you want. You get a PHP file in the URL and
you get plain HTML back on the client (in most cases). You don't need to
set up a script alias for PHP files.
