Hi
I 'm building a site on a site on a shared server, with php4 running as CGI.
I'm using php4 sessions with cookies. Unfortunately, the session cookie
domain is not set up in php.ini, so although the session cookie path is "/",
my cookies always have the path of the directory in which they were set.
Fine if the first page the user visits is top level, not if it is three
down.
As PHP is a cgi, I can't set the domain in .htaccess, and since this is a
shared server there's no chance of getting my domain in the php.ini file!
Before I rearrange my site to put all the scripts in the top level, has
anyone got any better suggestions?
(I'm no longer subscribed to the list, so please reply to me directly. If I
get anywhere, I'll post a summary back to the list)
