Creating a persistent connection is the easy part, if you have 5000
users of diferent kinds like: employes, customers, suppliers and
partners querying the same information at diferent levels of detail. You
need 3 applications in C, 2 in Delphi, several php scripts and some java
applets accessing the same info.
What do you think is better: enforce the security on the database or on
the application side ?
