Hi,
i wrote yesterday that i have some Problems with $HTTP_USER_AGENT and i
found out why. In the php.ini i auto-prepended some scripts (in fact one
script that include some else). In one VirtualHost i added this:
php_value auto_prepend_file http://host/file
Which actually worked beside the fact that the Environment was pretty
messed up. Anytime i add this line to the VirtualHost $HTTP_USER_AGENT
reports "PHP/4.0.2" in the auto-prepended scripts (in all of them), and
the right Browser-Information in the Scripts i directly call from within
the virtual Host.
When i remove the command from the httpd.conf the other auto-prepended
Scripts report the rightBrowser-Info. First i thought that it is ok
because of the fact that i include the Files over http and php is the
"browser" and the whole thing is executed on another virtual host (some
may call this feature), but on the other hand: I include local scripts and
remote scripts and BOTH report "PHP/4.0.2" as Browser-Info. So i dunno how
Zend calls these scripts, but one should report "PHP/4.0.2" and the
other the Browser-Info.
So i dunno how Zend handles this, but to me it looks like one
Auto-Prepended File over http sets "PHP/4.0.2" as Browser-Info sets this
Browser-Info for local auto-prepended Files too.
Anyway, if it is ok or not, how can i use $HTTP_USER_AGENT in an included
file that is executed on another server ?!

Guido Muehlwitz
