The problem is, set set_time_limit only counts the secunds the
php-script has processor-time. I think someone has made a suggestion on
the "wish-list" for the next php-version. Until then, there is no
solution in php... You could try JavaScript (which isn't good, but the
only way I find) to timeout a page.
