Actually, what I need to do is:
$var1 = $Array2[1]
$var2 = $Array2[2]
etc...
but I just seem to get
Array
as the output of $var1, $var2, etc...

Not sure I'm following you, but
$Array2[] = $somvariable;
will add the value of $somevariable to the next element of $Array2.
Can you explain a little more what you want if that's not it.
