Hey,
I was just wondering if someone could help me with using gnuPG with PHP, I have generated the keys
but can't seem to get any data back when trying to encrypt an variable.
here is the command syntax im trying:
$enCrypt =
/usr/local/gnupg/bin/gpg --local-user UID --encrypt --recipient woo@foo.com.au
$data;
now this seems to do absoulutly nothing, I was wondering if the webserver can even use it as I made
the keys as root, do I have to make a user for nobody, and generate the keys under this I sure hope
not!
I want to encrypt the contents of $data and insert it into a a mySQL text field, then provide the
means to decrypt the data as well.
If any one has used this before could they please help, I have been reading the gnuPG handbook and a
mini howto, but can't seem to get this to work with PHP.
Regards,
Joseph
