Conversion Complete!

With a big thank you to several on this list, I've completed the conversion of http://www.CameraCrews.com from running on FileMakerPro to MySQL/PHP. The result is a site that is functionally identical to what was running under FileMakerPro. A nice side-effect is that the FM server was costing me a hundred a month, but the MySQL/PHP server is only $15! The search functions are straightforward (although there's some enlightened logic in there if I may say so! For example, if you looked for a video crew in Dallas, you'll get a list of everyone in Dallas, Ft. Worth, and the mid-cities 'cause they all serve the DFW market.). If you're interested in seeing the meaty part of the site, go to 'Edit Your Profile' and put in 'don@newsvideo.com' with a pw of '1234'. Go ahead and edit the profile! Just don't change the email and pw so others can find it also. This list is an incredible resource. I only began learning MySQL/PHP a few months ago. Thanks very much, Don Smith NewsVideo.com
