Here's the setup:
I'm using the PHP imap functions with php4.0.1pl2 on RedHat 6.1 installed as an Apache Module.
I'm connecting to a Lotus Domino Server that has POP3 support.
I have a script that opens the connection to the mail server, counts the messages in the inbox, and
displays the subject and sender for the last 5. The first time the page is loaded, it shows all the
messages. However, if I reload, or come back to the page, it says there are no new messages.
If I use other POP3 servers, I don't have this problem.
If I use Manuel Lemos' POP3 classes, I don't have this problem, but it would be nice to
make use of the IMAP functions. It would save me a lot of time when coding the other mail
functionality later on.
Does anyone have any idea why this specific mail server would be giving me problems? It seems like
the PHP script is marking the messages as read (in some way), and I can't seem to get it to do
otherwise. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks.
