Hi,
You cannot decrypt md5 passwords.Md5 is one way.
What you could do is to generate a new password, send it to the user
and then crypt it with md5 and store it the database.
When you'll try to authenticate one user, md5 the input password and then
compare it with
the one you have in the database

hi list,
i am making a user authorization system with mysql and php(4.02) on win2k
professional server..
i have a table in which i store loginids email and md5 encrypted
passwords...
now i want to implement "remind pass" facility by sending the passwords to
the email corresponding to the loginid. how do i decrypt the md5 password
and send them the new pass if at all possible.????
one possible thing to do is to generate a random pass and send it to the
user..
any other ideas....
