Sub-directories accessing problems

Using:
Apache 1.3.X
WinNT 4.0 SP5 (DE)
PHP 4.0.2 Win 32
Well, I think I have a problem with accessecing sub-directories. If a create a new sub-directory
"d:\programme\apache\htdocs\php" and put my php scripts there, than I can't execute
them. My Web-Browsers says "Can't find the file"... I can execute only under
c:\programme\apache\htdocs
Can anybody give me a hint.
