Hello all,
I have just rolled out an application with session id's (my own function ,
not php4.0 session id's) that are passed in the URL. Unfortunately, some of
my users with older browsers, specifically under IE 4.02, (I don't know
about Netscape) are having problems with one specific part of the site.
In an area where they can update some information, upon submit, the session
id is being modified and their session is terminated on the very next page
load.
I have a user log page to track the login and logout of the users. The tag
"Bad Ses" represents someone getting kicked out because they tried to use a
bad session id. Of particular interest is the "®is" symbol at the end,
although this does not show up on every "Bad Ses". Is anyone familiar with
why this is occuring.
My solution so far has been to tell the users to download the latest version
of their browser; it is free after all. However, I wouldn't mind putting
in a patch so I will stop getting hassled with emails.
