Debugging using dbg and ddd on linux

Hello I am looking for a way to debug my php scripts. On the web I found Dmitri Dmitrienko's dbg. I'd like to use it with ddd on my linux machine. Unfortunatly there is no howto on how to set up all that. I read about a patch for ddd but could not find any further information. As a nice to have feature would be, if I could integrate all this into xemacs or vim. Any comments or tips are welcome! Thanks -- Cheers! Marco
