I don't think you can do any evaluation within the brackets. Thus, you couldn't use the concatenating dot.
Nevermind... I am wrong on this. But, I also completely missed that the code you have posted doesn't set $iListItems as Richard suggested. So, go with his suggestion. :) -Ben
