anti-right-click ... why? if on your explorer you go to View/Sourse you can then locate the graphic and paste the img src into address bar... on Netscape and Opera it's even easier ... not a solution ... -----Original Message----- From: Gary Singleton [mailto:gsinglet2@yahoo.com] Sent: Sunday, September 24, 2000 1:49 AM To: PHP General Subject: Re: [PHP] images, graphics question I'm not sure but what if you stored your graphics in a MySQL db in binary format (there are columns at phpbuilder that explain this) and pulled them out every time the page is generated? Then of course you'd have to use a Javascript that disables right click but those are a dime a dozen at someplace like Javascripts.com. This is all theoretical since I've never done it but I have looked at people's source before that had the anti-right click script so I could still download it but it's an interesting thought. I suspect it wouldn't work though because don't you have to store the graphic as a temporary file somewhere so it can be displayed by the img tag? Now that I think about it though there are supposed to be ways to garble your source, this in concert with the anti right click script might work and then again I'm presupposing the big 2 Windows browsers and right clicking - there may be other ways with other OSs / browsers. Just rambling. G. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 9/20/00 at 10:54 AM German wrote: >Hi! > >Does somebody know how to keep people from downloading your graphics? >Is there some software??
