novice, wanting comparison between php and other technologies.

Hi everyone, I am a novice starting out in the field of php. I want to shift my company's platform to php. but before this i need to convince my boss what all things can be done with php. so i have got a last option of giving a presentation of php to him and others. please help me out, so that i am able to convince my companies in using php and php to our website. the questions are: 1. what things can php do. 2. comparison with other technologies like asp, jsp, perl. Content management systems like zope. 3. Any special software like zope has been made on php. 4. pointers to presentations on the web regarding php. the one on php.net i have already seen. If any body has some presentation on php, can you please mail it to me. Thanks for listening to me. i hope with all your help i will be able to join my group under the php flag. Rajil
