in your php.ini file (/usr/local/lib/php.ini) there is a line you can edit
to set your include path:
include_path = /path/to/lib/directory
I usually choose /usr/lib/php for this sort of thing. Every file in there
can be called by simply putting "require_once 'file.inc' " (with no
directory specifications)
Good luck.
