Script halts inside imap_fetchstructure()

Hi - I'm running across a strange situation in which a script I'm running on a hosting company's server as a web page (no shell access available) is dying inside imap_fetchstructure when the message has an attachment. Of course, when I run it on my machine at home, it works fine :( . The hosting company is running PHP 4.3.4 and Apache/1.3.27 My home machine is running PHP 4.1.2 and Apache/1.3.23 I suspect the hosting company has something misconfigured, but since they're not likely to admit to it, I'm hoping there's a workaround I could put in my script.
