I need to unset BOTH $GLOBALS and $_SESSION vars?

Sorry for so many questions, thanks to all those who have helped.
I am finding that in order to completely unset some of my variables, I need
to use both unset($GLOBALS..... and unset($_SESSION....)....
Does this make sense? Thanks!
