Not sure if this will help either, but this is what I use to determine "where I'm at" in scripts I write.Very helpful, thank you! :) I realized after sending that I should probably keep my application/library files out of the world-viewable directory, what with the passwords and all. ;) But the method of finding the path from root is easily adaptable for that consideration.
