that tag is working fine and shows me the info. For some reason php will take input values only from the URL, not from the html code. any ideas?

I know PHP is (rather DA> appears to be) working fine. Why would it be parsing files fine and calling DA> phpinfo() fine, but not being able to take input values. that's strange.... echo time() isn't an input value. If it can't even do that then it's not surprising it can't handle $_POST values either, there is something else at play here and it's not your code. Stick "echo phpinfo()" at the top of your form code - does it work?-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFAKutoaxdA/5C8vH8RAo1WAJ9MZMtBAvXcJDizOVXblxp1DlCqSgCeNDdm rmE+jBIlMe4Hb6qaIUObCiQ= =NvxC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
